Andrew Jackson was a good president for those that believed European ancestry meant you owned the land in America and Natives were just people in the way. Jackson went into presidency with many biases against Natives and at this time, Natives were not considered American and were not allowed to vote. Jackson had a very particular way of going about things and one thing he did while in office was give many of the important federal positions to his friends who were very like-minded and would rarely disagree with him. This is dangerous to have a country run on the same mind set because then other points of view are not accounted for.
