What was the economy in the north and in the south? |
The economy in the North and the economy in the South were two very different worlds. However, the connecting factor was their view towards people of color whether that be Natives or African Americans. The economy in the South focused on farming and agriculture as there was the right kind of land and temperature present. Remember that the people living there could not have been successful farming if it was not for the help of the Natives when the Europeans first colonized America. Both the North and South did not think that Natives should be on the same level of respect as them. They both still pushed the Natives out of their homelands to secure their own economy.
