How did the Indigenous People help the Colonists? |
When the colonists came to the New World, the Indigenous People helped the colonists when it came to agriculture. Without the Indigenous People's help the colonists would not have had a means of getting food. These methods were later used to boost their economy. However, although the Indigenous People helped the Colonists with farming and hunting, the colonists used them as slaves. The colonists betrayed the indigenous people and took their land. The Colonists still used the techniques the indigenous helped them with after betraying them as well.
